We work tirelessly across the country to rescue & rehome greyhounds & lurchers.

Hello friends, I am Dewi, mascot hound for Forever Hounds Trust ( I wanted to introduce myself (I am named after St David, the patron saint of Wales) and would love to tell you all about our fantastic 12 month challenge to raise money to help hounds not as lucky as me to find forever homes and be cared for by the lovely hoomans at Forever Hounds Trust.

Me and other four and two legged supporters as planning to hike along the whole length of Offa’s Dyke, along the border path between England and Wales. Did you know it was built by King Offa in the 8th century to keep the Welsh celts out of England! It is a total of 285km (177 miles), and we plan to do the challenge over a series of weekend hikes throughout 2023, and into early 2024 - starting at the end of April.

Now we are all friends in Wales and England and I would love it if you will sponsor me, and even come along and join in on some of the hikes – our planned itinerary can be found at

Do please dig deep to help Forever Hounds Trust help us hounds!

Btw don't you think I am an amazing mascot, credit to svetaminka2 who is the pattern designer, and my aunt Frances who crocheted me!
