I will be participating in the Great Eastern Run 2025 for Light Project Peterborough. This charity is dedicated to supporting those in desperate need within our community.

Light Project Peterborough aims to be a truly city-focused charity, making a real difference through projects like Street Chaplaincy, Homeless Health Hub, Emergency Night Shelters, and Peer Advocacy. One of their most impactful initiatives is The Garden House, which opened its doors in October 2018 as Peterborough’s homeless hub. It plays a crucial role in addressing the needs of our homeless population.

In 2024/25 alone, The Garden House supported 1,039 different individuals, helping 596 of them transition from living on the streets into stable accommodation. Each month since January 2024, at least 32 new people have sought support at The Garden House. This shows just how vital their work is!
