Every day in the UK, another 240 people wake up to the catastrophic impact of a stroke. The Stroke Association is the only charity in the UK providing lifelong support for all stroke survivors and their families.

Story

The family would like to thank everyone for their kind words of love and support following the sad loss of David. A service to remember and celebrate his life will be held at St Mary's Church in Oakley on Tuesday 30 April 2024.

David suffered a severe stroke 8 and half years ago. The Stroke Association provided support throughout this time. Donations in memory of David will be gratefully received for the Stroke Association.

When stroke strikes, part of your brain shuts down. And so does a part of you. Life changes instantly and recovery is tough. But the brain can adapt. The Stroke Association's specialist support, research and campaigning are only possible with the courage and determination of the stroke community. With more donations and support from you, they can rebuild even more lives.
