Join us on 28/06/23 as DHU Healthcare raises awareness and funds for NSPKU, an important charity dedicated to supporting individuals with PKU (Phenylketonuria).

PKU is a metabolic disorder where individuals cannot properly break down the amino acid phenylalanine. High levels of phenylalanine can be toxic to the central nervous system, leading to irreversible brain damage.

On the day we have planned a bake sale to satisfy your sweet tooth and help raise funds for NSPKU. We're also asking everyone to participate by wearing green as part of their uniform, symbolising our support for this worthy cause.

NSPKU plays a vital role in providing essential information, resources, and conducting research to ensure individuals with PKU can safely manage their diet. With their 50th anniversary approaching, we have set a goal of fundraising in 50s and would like to get a total of 50 cakes donated at each site.

Your contribution can make a significant impact on the lives of those affected by PKU. By attending the bake sale, purchasing delicious treats, and wearing green, you are not only raising awareness but also providing much-needed support to NSPKU and the individuals they serve.
