Diahann's fundraiser for Supershoes

Diahann Berridge is raising money for Supershoes
In memory of Lorna Grey - Lorna's Legacy

London Landmarks Half Marathon 2026 · 12 April 2026 · Start fundraising for this event

Keeping children active during cancer treatment is key to their mental wellbeing and at Supershoes we personalise footwear to help get kids on their feet to boost wellbeing, restore a sense of self and remind them of the things they love. This isn't about cancer this is about Super Kids!

Story

In 2025, I helped organise the Rutland Variety Performance in memory of my close friend Lorna Grey to raise funds for the charity ‘Supershoes’, which she supported. They’re a unique charity that creates customised Converse shoes and boots for children and young adults facing cancer and terminal illnesses.

This year, I thought it’d be easier to run a half-marathon! I’ve not run properly in 25 years (I last ran the London marathon in 2001!), so training is tough, but those of you who know me well know I’m loving it. If you can, please support my fundraising efforts.
