As an ambassador for Spiral Cumbria, I am passionate about making a difference to the lives of young people.

Having experienced bullying firsthand during my school years, this cause holds a deeply personal significance for me.

I am participating in the Action Challenge Easter 50 Ultra Challenge 2025, a walk event scheduled for April 12, 2025, to raise funds for the campaign "Spiral - preventing the effects of bullying."

Spiral is a charity based in Carlisle who work with 8-25 year olds and their families, that are facing bullying related issues. The team work from a strength based approach, using this approach improves mental well-being and supports growth mindset.

Bullying can take away your confidence, cause self-doubt, increased anger, and many more emotional difficulties . Whist involved with Spiral we aim to provide you with positive relationships where you feel valued and heard. Being heard will support you to know your own value and this is when change can happen, you can create clear boundaries, speak-up, it will prevent you from acting from a fear-based response like fight, flight, freeze, which causes unhelpful / limiting behaviours.

To round-up what the 4-main outcomes for all involved with Spiral are:

My goal is to raise £1,000 to contribute towards the invaluable work of this charity.
