This will be my third Refugee Tales walk - this time it's 50 miles from Angmering to Portsmouth - walking in solidarity with people who have experienced immigration detention.

Sadly our government is making life even harder for people fleeing war, torture and imprisonment. Refugee Tales is a long-standing project of the Gatwick Detainee Welfare Group - a wonderful charity that provides support and advocacy for people being held in detention at 2 sites near Gatwick.

5 days of walking, sleeping in church halls, and talking to people who have suffered so much is a very small way to offer my support. Your donation will be very gratefully received and will send out a message that yes - refugees are welcome in our country
