Glasgow Kiltwalk 2024 · 28 April 2024 ·

Every day in the UK, another 240 people wake up to the catastrophic impact of a stroke. The Stroke Association is the only charity in the UK providing lifelong support for all stroke survivors and their families.

Story

In 2024, I am walking the Mighty Strides at the Glasgow on 28th April, Aberdeen on 2nd June, Dundee on 11th August and Edinburgh on 15th September, Kiltwalks and also the Supernova Forth Road Bridge Experience, on 2nd November in aid of the Stroke Association.

When stroke strikes, part of your brain shuts down. And so does a part of you. Life changes instantly and recovery is tough. But the brain can adapt. Our specialist support, research and campaigning are only possible with the courage and determination of the stroke community. With more donations and support from you, we can rebuild even more lives.
