Story
Kirsty and Diane are raising money for The Outlook Foundation, a Brighton-based charity providing safe, supportive residential services to adults with learning disabilities; helping them learn the life skills they need to live as independently as they choose.
Jean Marshall House Support Worker Kirsty Branch is walking the length of Great Britain, from Land’s End to John O’Groats, with her mum, Diane. The adventurous pair will be setting off from Cornwall on the 26th March and are expecting the walk of over a thousand miles to take them three months. .
Kirsty said: “We are raising money for the Outlook Foundation as they look out for everyone, making sure all staff, tenants and residents are feeling happy and well looked after. I’ve been at the Foundation for a year and see the dedication of the staff members to helping the residents and tenants flourish and grow.
“I will miss spending time with everyone and seeing the tenants and residents weekly, but I also look forward to coming back and hearing all that's gone on over the spring, as I'm sure, as always, they'll have a story or two to tell :)”
