Story
Thank you for supporting the Canvey Island Community First Responders group.
Community First Responders are highly trained volunteers who attend life-threatening 999 emergencies across the East of England. As local volunteers, they are often first on scene before an ambulance arrives, providing vital, potentially life-saving care during those critical first moments.
Our team is made up of dedicated volunteers trained by the East of England Ambulance Service and supported by the East of England Ambulance Service Charity. We respond within our local community to help people in urgent medical need, offering reassurance, emergency treatment, and support until ambulance crews take over.
To continue providing this essential service, we rely on the generosity of our community. Every donation helps us fund lifesaving equipment, training, and resources that enable us to keep responding when people need us most.
Thank you for helping us make a difference in Canvey Island.
