Freddie and I are taking part in the Simmer Dim Ride 2023 and raising money for two worthwhile causes:

The Teenage Cancer Trust - The Teenage Cancer Trust offers unique care and support, designed for and with young people. They fund specialised nurses, youth workers and hospital units in the NHS, so young people have dedicated staff and facilities to support them throughout treatment.

Shetland Indoor Arena (SIA) - Shetland has a long winter with limited daylight hours and yet no indoor facility for equestrian activities. This means for a large part of the year opportunities to enjoy working with our beloved equine friends. SIA is raising funds to build such a facility for the benefit of equestrians here (and other activities needing a large indoor space).

Freddie and I will late night driving a 7 mile route (in fancy dress) from Dalsetter and around Loch of Spiggie on Sat 17 June.
