Fr Naylor and Michaela Suckling are taking the hard path to make ours easier in church.
Scarfell Pike is the tallest mountain in England, its peak 3,210 feet 978 metres) above sea level. It is so tall that on a clear day, you can see other peaks as far away as Wales, Ireland, Scotland, and the Isle of Man!
Scafell Pike was donated to the National Trust in 1919 by Lord Leconfield. This gesture was made to honour the men of the Lake District who lost their lives fighting for their country in the First World War.
This challenging hike will be made with the ambitious goal of raising the funds for 20 1x1m squares of our new Nave floor.
