Story
And who is better in speech than one who calls to Allah, does righteous deeds, and says: ‘Indeed, I am of the Muslims.’” - Qur’an 41:33
Across Luton and beyond, Discover Islam has been quietly and consistently opening doors to understanding, dialogue and guidance. Through exhibitions, mosque tours, school workshops, literature distribution and community engagement, they are helping people encounter Islam with clarity, confidence and compassion.
Every year, thousands of visitors – young people, families, professionals and neighbours of all backgrounds – attend Discover Islam initiatives to ask questions, learn about faith, and challenge misconceptions.
But this work requires support.
As Luton residents, we have seen first-hand the positive impact of Discover Islam’s activities including:
- Schools receiving structured educational sessions
- Community open days breaking down barriers
- Resources distributed to those genuinely seeking answers
- Safe spaces created for sincere conversations about faith
- Ongoing support for new Muslims and those going through difficulty
The Prophet ﷺ said: “By Allah, if Allah guides one person through you, it is better for you than red camels.” (Bukhari & Muslim)
Red camels were the most valuable wealth of the Arabs. Today, nothing compares to the reward of guiding even one soul towards truth.
