A week on the Arctic Circle!
My name is Dimi and I'm taking part in an Arctic Adventure Challenge starting from Kilpisjärvi, Finland, to raise vital funds for the Rainbow Trust Children's Charity.
Rainbow Trust Children’s Charity supports families who have a child with a life-threatening or terminal illness.Your donation no matter how big or small will make a huge difference to them. Follow my journey on Instagram https://www.instagram.com/dimi_tsiaras?igsh=MTdzYjh3c3Y3Nmg1MA==
Let's make a positive impact to children and families
I truly believe that ordinary people can do extraordinary things - in March 2026, I will spend a week on the Arctic Circle.
About me:
- I'm a Data Engineer and a keen Triathlete, going for the Ironman 70.3 World Champs this year in Marbella, Spain
- I live and train in and around Kenilworth, Warwickshire, and I'm a member of the local clubs Kenilworth Wheelers and Kenilworth Masters swimming club
- I studied Physics while in Greece and came to UK initially for my MSc in Data Science and later for working
- My parents had a butcher shop as a family business
Please join me on this journey and donate to Rainbow Trust
This involves cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, Arctic survival skills, navigation, and campcraft. The adventure culminates in a two-day trek into the backcountry, where I will spend the night in a remote Arctic campsite with the Northern Lights for company.
Good fitness is required for this and I will combine this effort with my other target, the 2025 Ironman 70.3 World Champs in Marbella, Spain.
