Story
We are back for another Santas on the Run, our little family tradition!
Three years ago, tiny baby Constantine was just one, and we thought we’d have to carry him around the course. The run got cancelled due to snow and frost, but your generous donations set us on a mission to keep doing this every year. Two years ago, with a lot of encouraging and cheering, Constantine somehow managed to run the whole 2k at the age of two. Last year, he smashed it again. This year, at almost five, we’ll probably be the ones chasing him around, and struggling to keep up!
We are doing this for Children’s Hospice South West, who support children with life-limiting conditions and their families across the South West. They offer hospice breaks, emergency care, palliative care and end-of-life care across three beautiful hospices: Little Bridge House in North Devon, Charlton Farm in North Somerset and Little Harbour in mid Cornwall. We feel fortunate not to have needed their services, and that’s exactly why we want to support the families who do.
If you’d like, you can donate, even a small amount helps. And if you are feeling festive, come join us next year! A fancy dress, a positive attitude, a rewarding mince pie, and together we can make a difference!
Thank you, from all of us, and from the families who need it the most! ❤️
