Story
Working for a charity offering therapeutic support to children, young people and adults in Barnet and Hertfordshire, I believe Repheal House offer a valuable service at a time when emotional wellbeing and mental health is a priority but services are stretched and budgets are tight.
Being part of a team of therapists offering therapeutic support at a low cost, even free, ensures that we can reach so many families, with sessions being available during the day, evening and the weekend. The outreach support in schools is another strand of the service ensuring we reach out to families in the local area.
Therapy offers members of the community the opportunity to heal from their trauma. As in the words of Gabor Mate “..children don’t get traumatised by the hurt, they get traumatised by being alone with the hurt”.
Please support me as I walk 10k to support this wonderful charity who I am proud to be a part of.
