Animal Rescue Project in Sri Lanka

At 197, Mandavila Road, Mulleriyawa New Town, we are dedicated to providing essential care and support for street dogs and other animals in need. Our project focuses on feeding, medical care, and rescuing animals who are sick, injured, or abandoned.

In Sri Lanka, many people are struggling financially and cannot afford to care for their dogs. As a result, many dogs end up on the streets, fending for themselves in harsh conditions. Our mission is to address this issue by offering support and care to these vulnerable animals.

Our daily operations include:

- **Feeding Programs:** We provide nutritious food to street dogs and other stray animals to ensure they receive regular meals.

- **Medical Care:** Our team administers necessary medicines and treatments to animals suffering from various ailments. We also arrange for vaccinations and sterilizations to promote animal health and control the population of strays.

- **Rescue Missions:** We actively rescue animals in distress, offering them a safe haven where they can recover and thrive. Our rescue operations involve transporting animals to our facility where they receive immediate veterinary attention and ongoing care.

- **Rehabilitation and Rehoming:** We work tirelessly to rehabilitate abused and neglected animals, preparing them for adoption into loving homes.

Our mission aligns with IAPWA (International Aid for the Protection & Welfare of Animals), a Sri Lanka-based charity dedicated to creating a better future for animals in need. IAPWA has teams and facilities around the world, providing a vital lifeline to thousands of dogs and cats every year who require veterinary care and support.
