Story
The BFBS Dino-Dash is an endurance fundraising challenge to walk the Yorkshire Three Peaks in the Yorkshire Dales National Park in a day with a group of BFBS listeners, military veterans and Big Salute Beneficiaries.
During the walk we will record interviews with the group to tell stories of how the Big Salute has made a difference. We will also be doing live reports into BFBS throughout the day.
Date: Tuesday 6 October Start: 06:00 - Target Finish: 18:00 (12-hour challenge)
To make the challenge more fun and to make it typically military and to encourage donations, every participant will wear an identical inflatable T-Rex costume for photos, videos and social media content.
