I’m running the Plymouth Half Marathon for Nerve Tumours UK—supporting those living with the most common genetic disorder you’ve probably never heard of.

​Nerve tumours (Neurofibromatosis) are life-altering and unpredictable. Despite how common they are, many doctors remain unaware of the condition. I know this firsthand; I live with nerve tumours myself, and for a long time, I felt unheard and completely dismissed by the medical community.

​Nerve Tumours UK was the only organization that truly listened when no one else would. They provide the vital support and specialized knowledge that patients desperately need.

Running for My Niece

​Most importantly, I am running for my brave niece. She is currently fighting a large, inoperable plexiform tumour in her arm. and taking Koselugo to stabilise the tumour which has its own complications, Watching her navigate the condition that has no cure is my ultimate motivation. If she can face that every day, I can certainly tackle 13.1 miles.
