As part of the 'UK Say No More' campaign, I will be raising money for The Crossing Point Domestic Abuse Service based in Liverpool.
Did you know that in 12 months between 2020 - 2021, 34,421 domestic abuse-related incidents were reported Merseyside Police?
To raise awareness of domestic abuse and raise vital funds for the work of The Crossing Point, I will be walking 34,421 steps between 5-12 March.
Each step represents a reported incident of domestic abuse in Merseyside. Each step also represents the need we have as individuals and society to walk away from this type of abusive behaviour whether we encounter is as victims, perpetrators or witnesses.
