There’s no cost attached to this – I’m paying for the gear, the flights, etc and there’s no admin costs. So, every penny you give will go directly to GLO’s amazing work in healthcare, micro financing businesses (buying cows and sewing machines to enable independence), education orphanages and much more. They are all locally run by a fantastic team of Burundians. It is seriously impactful stuff and is nation changing. I’ve known and supported Simon from the beginning and, as a charity cynic, I can tell you its one of the leanest, best run charities I’ve ever come across with real vision and purpose.

I’m not a cyclist, so I’m pretty intimidated at the prospect given my limited ability/practice and middle-aged spread. Here’s why I’m worried. Some vital statistics:
