Hey, my name is Divine Kamdem, and I'm a student at Bayes Business School. This summer, I'll be embarking on a journey to Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, alongside a passionate team of volunteers from our school. Our mission is to collaborate with Holistic Opportunity for Humanity (HOH), a remarkable community-based organisation that supports children who have lost their parents to HIV/AIDS.

Holistic Opportunity for Humanity provides care for over 250 children, ranging from nursery to university students, through a unique community-based housing model. Small groups of children live together, fostering a nurturing and protective environment. In addition to housing, HOH offers vital services such as food, clothing, education, medical care, and counselling. They also support alumni pursuing higher education, as well as widows, mothers, and the elderly in the community.

Since 2009, Bayes Business School has partnered with Helping Hanna's Community, a UK-based charity dedicated to sustaining and expanding HOH's work. Each year, student volunteers are selected to visit Ethiopia and work closely with the children. This year, I’m honoured to be part of this initiative.

Our goal is to raise £2,000 GBP to make a meaningful impact. This year, they have specifically requested funds to provide pyjamas and bed sheets for the children. Every donation will go directly to HOH, ensuring these children receive the comfort and care they need.
