Story
In December of 2024, following a couple of epileptic seizures, I was diagnosed with a terminal grade 4 astrocytoma which has a typical prognosis of 1-5 years. I was expedited into surgery on New Year's eve and then began 9 months of treatment which included radiotherapy and chemotherapy.
As a result, I began thinking of ways to simultaneously connect with my many friends and raise money for a good cause. Therefore, I will be walking the Thames Path National trail in May 2026 over three weeks to fundraise for the Brain Tumour Charity. I am grateful for any and all donations no matter how big or small.
The Brain Tumour Charity is the world's leading brain tumour charity and the largest dedicated funder of research into brain tumours globally. Your donation will help them find new treatments, offer the highest level of support and drive urgent change.
I will also be posting the occasional update on my Instagram page: @jasperwalksthethames. I am actively looking for friends, family, donors to walk with me and this page will be the first place you can find it!
