🌸We are 3rd year Event and Hospitality Management students at Dundalk Institute of Technology, and this year we’re proud to support the fight against breast cancer.

On Tuesday, October 20th 2026, we will be hosting 🎀“The Big Pink Coffee Morning”☕🧁🍰 in the Hospitality Department at DkIT. Join us between 10:30am and 12:00pm for takeaway tea and coffee, delicious sweet treats, a raffle, and fun activities.

This event is coordinated by our lecturer, Maria Roddy Freyne, who has been leading these fundraisers since 2014, after her own journey as a breast cancer survivor. The aim is not only to raise vital funds for the Irish Cancer Society, but also to highlight the importance of early detection in breast cancer treatment.

Over the years, these events have received incredible support from staff, students, and the wider community. We hope you’ll continue that tradition by helping us reach our target this year.
