Amaudo provides residential and community-based services for people with mental health needs and challenges stigma and discrimination. We work with local communities to raise awareness of mental health issues and challenge the government to ensure basic human rights.

Story

For my 50th and Samuel's 18th birthdays, we were gifted something I've always wanted to do: a parachute jump. If we're going to do something that terrifying, we'd love to raise money for something that really matters to us at the same time!

Amaudo’s weekly community radio show has been running for several years now and has had a huge impact, reaching thousands of listeners in Nigeria and beyond every week and prompting phone ins and referrals from hundreds of people seeking support with their own or their relatives mental health. It's breaking down barriers, reducing stigma and providing another avenue for people to access the care they need.

I've been inspired by Amaudo’s ground-breaking work for the last 23 years - we'd love to use this opportunity to support the radio show that's bringing hope to 1000s of people. If you can, please donate — whatever you give will help keep these important conversations on the air.
