Story

Hiya, thanks for taking your time to visit my page. I am walking for GREC in the Kiltwalk in Aberdeen on Sunday, June 1st.

This is my first KiltWalk to raise fund, and I have chosen the charity: Grampian Regional Equality Council (GREC).

Attending to the individuals marginalised in the societies has always been where my heart sets its place since little. In the past seven years, being part of the volunteer counsellors for GREC, I have observed and appreciated how GREC cares and GREC's wholehearted committment in inclusion and equality to empower the marginalised societies and in accompanying them to find their voice. In the world filled with so much uncertainty, GREC strives to create spaces where hope can flourish and humanity can thrive - like the lotus flowers blooming in the muddy pond.

The whole amount of the funding raised are going towards the people GREC support. I am proud to raise fund for this organisation, and I hope you will join me to Kiltwalk for GREC, or donate a bit of coins to my page in supports of GREC. Let us embrace the humanity, compassions and human rights.

Together, we can continue to make a difference, flourishing the plants of hope to the next generations.

GREC, a local charity, has several departments and services to support different communities and to attend different needs: Casework, Active Citizen, New Scots Rights, Health & Diversity, Language Integration and the Counselling for Adults, Children, and Young People. GREC every year helps, assists and supports the people from all communities who may have experienced the discriminations, prejudice and mistreatment based on their race, cultures & religions, gender and transgender, isolation and disability. GREC has been celebrating their 40th anniversary last year.
