We are an all-female team who, in February 2025, collectively ran over 500 miles from Stranraer to Edinburgh and raised £27,000.

Now, we are back to take on the almighty challenge of running four marathons in four countries in four days.

Within this team challenge, each of us will be setting ourselves a personal challenge with regards how many miles we will cover each day; with some of the team hoping to complete all four marathons. No matter the weather, we will be out training throughout the Scottish winter; squeezing in runs and gym sessions around hectic work and family schedules.

We will be leaving Melrose, in Scotland, on Tuesday 10th March 2026, then heading through England and into Wales, before arriving in Dublin, Ireland, on Friday 13th March 2026. Our vehicles will also serve as our accommodation so this is going to be quite the road-trip!

Our "why" has not changed: each of us has witnessed the devastating impact MND has on the lives of those diagnosed with the disease, and on their loved ones. We feel immensely privileged to have a choice - the choice to take on this challenge; the choice to push ourselves to the limit; the choice to stop if/when it becomes too much; the choice to call on the support of our family and friends - all the while, for those living with the MND, the disease cruelly strips away their freedom to choose. And, following last year's overwhelming success, we are now even more inspired and even more motivated to raise vital funds for My Name'5 Doddie Foundation.
