In April 2027, I’ll be joining 30 hospitality professionals for an intense 450km cycling challenge in Chile, covering up to 100km a day across seriously tough, hilly terrain.

I’ve taken on Hospitality Rides three times before, in Jordan, Sri Lanka and Kenya, so I know just how physically demanding it will be. And this time, I’m coming straight off maternity leave (sleep deprivation with a one-year-old wasn’t enough of a challenge)...

I’m riding to raise vital funds for Only A Pavement Away and Licensed Trade Charity, two causes I care deeply about. After seven years at Only A Pavement Away, I’ve seen first-hand how the right support and opportunity can transform the lives of people facing homelessness and barriers to employment.

There will be long days, brutal climbs and sore legs, but every painful kilometre will be worth it if it helps these two charities continue their life-changing work.
