I am thrilled to be racing in the Bognor 10k this May to fundraise for Sage House. Sage House is transforming the way that local people with dementia are cared for. The first of its kind in the UK, bringing a full range of dementia services into one specialist hub - Sage House in Tangmere, West Sussex. They provide seamless support from pre-diagnosis through to latter stages of dementia and post bereavement support.

Both of my grandparents spent the last years of their lives suffering with dementia and so I saw first hand the devastating effects the disease can have on the individual as well as the friends and family. Across West Sussex there are 17,000 people living with dementia and this is expected to increase as the population ages - leaving more people in need of support.
