Story

Every three minutes, someone in the UK is told they have dementia. Three minutes. Not a lot longer than it took you to read this far.
On the 13th of September, the Old Brodleians U13s are taking on Whernside, one of the Yorkshire Three Peaks, to raise money for Alzheimer's Research UK. It's a proper climb. Steep in places, exposed at the top, and not the kind of thing a group of lads does for fun on a Saturday. They're doing it because dementia touches nearly every family one way or another. Maybe it's touched yours.
Alzheimer's Research UK isn't a charity that just supports people after diagnosis, they're chasing an actual cure. Every pound goes toward research that could mean someone gets more time with the people they love, and not just managed decline.
The team will put the work in. Now it's over to the rest of us.
If you can spare a fiver, a tenner, whatever you've got, it genuinely makes a difference.
