Story
What started out as a bucket-list challenge has, very sadly, become something much more meaningful.
Following the recent and sudden loss of both Dom and Rob’s mums, we have decided to take on the National Three Peaks Challenge with an added purpose: to raise as much money as we can for Winchester Hospice.
Winchester Hospice provides specialist palliative and end-of-life care to adults with life-limiting illnesses in Winchester and the surrounding villages. It is a place of compassion, dignity, warmth and support at one of the most difficult times in people’s lives — caring not only for patients, but also for their families, friends, carers and children.
The challenge will see us tackle Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon (Yr Wyddfa), aiming to complete all three mountains within 24 hours. It will undoubtedly be tough, but recent events have given the challenge a much deeper significance for both of us.
We would be incredibly grateful for any support you can give, however large or small. Every donation will help Winchester Hospice continue to provide its invaluable care and support to local people and their families, both now and for years to come.
Thank you for supporting us — and for helping us turn a personal challenge into something that can make a real difference to others.
