Caz’s Angels are walking in the memory of Caz Murphy. A truly amazing wife, mother and friend. We are Dom, Sarah, Martine, Grace, Helen and Julie.

We lost Caz back in 2020 and we lost aawonderful person. With her boundless energy, enthusiasm and positivity we have decided to do this event in her memory.

Caz had to call upon Clatterbridge twice in her relatively short life when the Big C came calling first in 2013 and following successfully 'kicking its ass' as she said herself it came back in 2018. Given 12 months she fought on a brave, inspiring fight for 20 months until March 2020 aged just 48.

Anyone she met was touched by her warmth and kindness. She inspired so many with her positivity and zest for life. Her legacy lives on through her memories and her two wonderful boys.

The Angel’s are made up of her husband and five of her closest friends who provided fab support during her illness when they earned the nickname. Since then we have done various fundraising events and activities since her passing and decided that 2026 would be the year we all did the walk.

Some of our kids are joining us as we make up a group of twelve looking to raise as much money as possible for such a fantastic cause that does amazing work and provide such superb support for those, like Caz, who are going my through such an awful time.

Clatterbridge is a fantastic cause and supports those being treated and the wider network around that person in a fantastic way. From the nurses who gave out the treatment to the volunteers who come round with the teas and coffees, they need every penny they can and make every penny count.
