I’m raising money for the Alan Shearer Centre in Newcastle, an incredible charity that supports children and young people with complex disabilities and additional needs.

The centre is currently fundraising to build a second hydrotherapy pool. The existing pool is hugely popular and always fully booked because the children love it, but demand means it isn’t always available when it’s needed most.

A second pool would make a real difference, allowing more children to benefit from this vital therapy.

On May 10th I’ll be running the Leeds Marathon, and I thought it was a good opportunity to raise some money.

Any donation, big or small, would be hugely appreciated and will go directly towards helping the Alan Shearer Centre continue its amazing work.
