Story
I am the Team Rector of eight incredible medieval churches in Buckinghamshire in the Benefice of Cottesloe. Would you support us or even join us for day long hike between our eight churches? This national treasure doesn't get any government support or central funding to keep it open. We rely on grants and giving from our local congregations and volunteers. A charity that has been very generous to us is Buckinghamshire Historic Churches Trust (BHCT), who thought up "Ride and Stride". The idea is that you ride your horse or bicycle or you walk to participating churches raising sponsorship as you go. I don’t have a horse, and last year I cycled, so this year I am walking. It would be great if you could join us or perhaps turn out to welcome us for some or part of the journey. We will be walking over 18 miles in total but you could join us for one of the legs. These are the estimated timings below.
