Dear colleagues, fellow doctors and healthcare workers, my Filipino diaspora community in the UK, and friends:

On 11th October, I’ll be running the Royal Parks Half Marathon in London to raise money for Médecins Sans Frontières.

Every donation will help the charity to continue providing vital care to people facing unimaginable circumstances. This includes aid in Gaza, where continued war and repeated forced displacement have caused devastating physical and mental harm.

MSF teams persevere to provide emergency medical and psychological care, including trauma management, outpatient consultations, maternal and paediatric services, and support for hospitals and clinics, despite extraordinarily difficult conditions.
