Story

Since we lost Neal to a brain tumour I have struggled to come to terms with what to do. Crying didn't really help, being angry didn't really help, pretending it wasn't real didn't really help! Running did. Thanks Neal!

Unlike so many people who lose their loved ones I was lucky enough to say goodbye and during those last times that I had with him he said he missed strolling. He asked me to do more strolling and I know I'm not the only member of the family he said this to! So I have done my version of strolling ever since. This has mainly been running but I also have taken strolling to mean anything you enjoy that you cant do when your incapacitated or dead! Skating, surfing, skiing, being with family and hanging out with friends.

I would feel cheeky setting up a page to raise money by just sitting in a bar and hanging with friends so I am going to try to run one or 2 runs. I am listing them below and will just keep this page open.

8th June 24 - boscastle scramble (completed)

3rd August 24 Rat Black 32 (completed)

7th September 24 - saints way (completed)

14th December 24 - fairytale newquay (completed)

We still don't know enough about this terrible cancer and the only way to help everyone in the future is remember those who we loved and find a cure together.
