Glasgow Kiltwalk 2024 · 28 April 2024 ·

Camphill Blair Drummond is a unique community in central Scotland, a home-from-home environment shared living with a day service providing meaningful activities and friendship for people with learning disabilities in a family setting. Everyone lives, works and grows together, regardless of age, background or ability.

Story

We're raising money in memory of Dominic Cleary, who passed away very suddenly and unexpectedly last April. 9 members of his family ("Dom's Dynamos") are taking part in the Glasgow Kiltwalk Big Stroll, walking from Clydebank to Balloch (14 miles) on the 28th of April.

We're aiming to raise money towards Camphill Blair Drummond's appeal to build a Sports Centre. Camphill Blair Drummond is an amazing and unique charity who support adults with learning disabilities through both residential and day services. They gave Dom additional support, a lot of fun, and good food (not all of it strictly his) throughout his 22 years as a resident at Camphill.
