Hi folks, I am heading to Nepal in October to trek to Everest Base Camp & Mera Peak (the highest trekking peak in the world). In doing so I am raising money for Crossroads Care Harris which provides much needed respite for carers and companionship for the elderly which is vital in our island communities.

Crossroads Care Harris provides respite for family carers who care for the elderly or people with physical, mental or sensory impairment to allow the carers some time to themselves to go out or even go to bed for a couple of hours knowing that their loved one is in safe hands. Also visiting the elderly who are alone and encourage them to integrate back into the community by taking them out shopping, to appointments, to community events or a trip to a cafe.
