Story
This summer, I’m cycling the legendary London-Edinburgh-London (LEL) route – 1,500km in under five days – to raise funds for Greenhouse Sports, where we use sport and mentoring to transform the lives of young people growing up in poverty.
Earlier this year, I broke my leg. My performance has taken a big hit. I’ve lost speed, strength, and – at times – confidence. But I’m pressing ahead. Because when I look at the young people we support – many facing far bigger challenges – they remind me what courage looks like.
At Greenhouse, we say:
“Be brave. Try. Learn.”
So that’s what I’m doing. Riding for the 8,500+ kids we supported this year. For those who show up every day, push through setbacks, and grow in confidence because someone believed in them.
Please donate what you can. Every mile I ride will help build futures that are Built to Last.
