Story
Every child deserves to feel confident and supported, especially when facing the challenges of illness. The Little Princess Trust is dedicated to providing real hair wigs, free of charge, to children and young people who have lost their own hair through cancer treatment or conditions such as Alopecia. These wigs do more than restore a sense of normality—they help bring comfort, dignity, and hope at an incredibly difficult time.
In September, I will be donating my hair (Approx 13 inches!) to the Little Princess Trust so it can be used to create a wig for a child or young person in need. It’s a small way to contribute to the remarkable work this charity does every single day.
Beyond wigs, the Little Princess Trust is also one of the UK’s largest funders of childhood cancer research, investing in projects that aim to bring kinder, more effective treatments and, ultimately, a future with fewer children affected by cancer. This work is only possible because of the generosity of those who choose to support the charity.
If you are able, please consider donating. Your kindness can help provide not only wigs but also hope and vital research for children and young people who need it most. Together, we can make a meaningful difference in their journey.
If you’re a UK taxpayer, please remember to tick the Gift Aid box—it won’t cost you anything extra, but it means the charity can claim an additional 25% on your donation. For example, every £20 you give could become £25 to support children and young people.
