I’m taking part in this skydive for my grandson that was diagnosed with SMA type one at only 6 weeks old. He struggles with every day to day life and is constantly fighting for survival. Since Anthony-Lee was six weeks old he has spent 6-7 months in and out of hospital. Last July we had to make the awful and hardest decision to put him into an emergency coma as his lungs were giving up on him and everyday survival was getting harder and harder. I choose this charity to raise awareness for SMA as it’s not very well known and only specialist doctors know what it Is.
