I am taking part in the Get Active in April for colostomy UK. In the UK over 21,000 people undergo a stoma every year, 55 people every single day! Living with a stoma can have its difficulties and challenges too. It is life changing, but knowing that they save lives provides solace. I am so thankful that I am still here enjoying everyday life. From the clinician’s dedicated to the cause to the forged friendships who have shared tips, you have all helped me on my journey. I am truly thankful for all the support received and the special people I have met along the way.

The challenge; I plan to walk 5.5k every day of April. I would like to raise £550 for the charity. Please donate if you feel you can.
