Having a loved one diagnosed with autism can be a daunting experience, particularly when you have little or no previous knowledge or experience of autism.

The Downpatrick ASD Family Support Group has been a lifeline for so many families, providing invaluable education, emotional support and physical activities for people with autism and their carers. This incredible charity has filled a huge gap in support services and continues to make a real difference to families in our community.

I’m taking on an abseil to help raise funds so they can continue providing this vital support to those who need it most.
