Story
I'm off on the Camino trail again.
Thank you so much to everyone for your generosity on last year's trek. This year I will be starting at Orense in Spain and finishing at the glorious Santiago Cathedral itself.
Papworth Hospital and the work they do is such a meaningful thing for my family as my husband is still with us today after his heart transplant almost 9 years ago now.
Whenever I can I like to pay a little back to say the biggest thank you, and also to play a small part in helping ensure that other people can benefit as we have done.
I know times are hard for most of us so absolutely no pressure to donate - but if you feel like contributing a small amount you can rest assured it will be going towards something amazing.
Royal Papworth Charity exists to support the ground-breaking work of Royal Papworth Hospital. With increasing pressures on the NHS, the Charity plays a vital role in ensuring that the Hospital continues to provide the highest standards of care by investing in staff development, improving the Hospital environment for our patients and supporting research into new ways of treating heart and lung disease. Our patients, their families and the staff are at the heart of everything we do, this is all made possible by the generosity of our supporters.
