In loving memory of Haulwen O’Grady

In loving memory of Haulwen O’Grady who passed away 23/02/2025, aged 82.
On behalf of Tim, Donna, Kath, Rhianwen, Matthew, Harri and all the family,, in lieu of flowers, we would appreciate any donations, no matter how small, to go to St Kentigern’s Hospice in St Asaph.
Mam (Haulwen) was only there a very short time, but whilst she was there, the care was second to none!
Without exception, the whole team were kind, caring and couldn’t do enough for Mam or for me.
The whole atmosphere was calm and peaceful and having fought for so long, against so many odds, it was just the right place for her to fall asleep one last time and a comfort for me, having her so much closer in her final days.
Here’s a bit more about the hospice:
At St Kentigern Hospice we provide palliative care for people with life limiting illness. Our aim is to enhance the quality of life of our patients, enabling to live well with their condition. We achieve this by providing specialist care in our state of art 12 bedded inpatient unit. Each patient receives tailored care to their needs which is achieved through our wide range of therapies on offer to improve their quality of life and offering their families support as well.
