Head Shave and St Patrick's Day Event at Eastmoor Dragons ARLFC Wakefield from 4pm · 16 March 2024

The MND Association focuses on improving access to care, research and campaigning for those living with or affected by MND in England, Wales and Northern Ireland. If you or a loved one need practical or emotional support, call our Connect Helpline on 0808 802 6262, Mon to Fri between 9am and 4pm.

Story

Having met Rob Burrow several times, when Covid started I made the decision to try and help raise money for this dreadful disease affecting many people, MND.

Rob is such an inspiration to us all and is battling this disease bravely.

I'm a 60 year old disabled lady, I can't walk very well, run or cycle so my contribution to help Rob and people going through this horror of horrors, is to completely shave my head, live at the event.

I must stress that Andrew Perry has been working tirelessly for many months putting this event together and he deserves recognition for taking this on. Louise, Robin, Danny and many more at the club are assisting greatly too, thank you.

Please, please give as much as you can spare, to help us raise this money.

The event starts at 4pm with the following:

Irish Dance Troop - Barnsley Irish Dancers

Ireland Calling Celtic Thunder - Andrew Perry

Head Shave - Donna Turner

Steve Walters singing and on guitar
