Story
I'm running 50K for Parent Support Link (PSL) 💙
On 26th September 2026, I'll be taking on the Chiltern 50K Challenge.
Now, here's the scary part...
I've never run further than 5K.
I've completed half marathons and full marathons before, but I've always walked them. This time, I'm challenging myself to run the entire 50 kilometres.
Why?
Because some challenges are worth every blister, every early morning and every aching muscle.
I'm running to raise money for Parent Support Link (PSL), an incredible charity that has been supporting families and friends affected by someone else's substance use since 1993.
Every day, PSL provides a lifeline to people who are often forgotten, the parents, partners, children, siblings and friends who are trying to cope with the impact of addiction on someone they love.
They offer understanding, practical advice and, most importantly, a listening ear when people need it most.
No one should have to face that journey alone.
Training for 50K won't be easy. There will be good days, bad days, sore legs and probably a few moments where I question why I ever signed up!
But every mile I run will be for the families who rely on PSL's support.
If you can, please consider making a donation. Every pound helps PSL continue providing vital support to those who need it most.
Thank you for believing in me, supporting my challenge, and helping such an amazing charity continue changing lives.
Together, let's make every kilometre count. 💙
