Story

🌟🌟🌟I’m raising money for Blythe House Hospice for many reasons, but above all, in memory of Marj—our amazing mum, mum-in-law, fabulous and funny grandma, loving wife to Dad, and a kind, thoughtful friend to so many.💜🩵💚🩷

A year ago, the incredible team at Blythe House supported us and Mum during her final days. Thanks to their compassion and care, she was able to pass away with dignity, surrounded by love. Even though they had a busy evening ahead, they never rushed us. They answered every question, showed immense kindness, and made sure we all felt supported during one of the hardest times of our lives.🙏🩷🩵💚💜

Their warmth and compassion left a lasting mark on me. That’s why I want to raise money—not only to say thank you, but to help ensure other families can experience the same care and support when they face their own goodbyes. 🙏🥰

🥰On a personal note, the past few years have brought both highs and lows, and much of my time has been spent caring for others.🥰

As 2026 approaches—my 50th year🫣😊—I’ve decided to take on a challenge that will not only support Blythe House but also help me refocus on something I’ve often put aside: my own mental and physical health.🩷

This trip is a gift to myself—a chance to step out of my comfort zone, push my limits, experience something completely new and go on a big adventure - something our mum always encouraged us all to do 🫶🏻🥰

💜. I’m so excited to get started with training and fundraising. Best of all, I’ll be doing it with the full support of my wonderful friends and family, and alongside my lovely friend Donna.

💛 Please donate what you can – and if you can’t donate, a share or kind word goes a long way!

Thank you so much for your support – I’ll be thinking of all of you with every step I take on the Wall!🩵🩷💜💚
