Story
On Sunday 11 October 2026, a team from Dorchester Living will be taking part in the Oxford Half Marathon, raising funds for Homeless Oxfordshire.
Homeless Oxfordshire provides an open door for people whose lives have been shaped by trauma and disadvantage; offering safety, stability and support when it is needed most. They are the county’s largest not-for-profit provider of supported accommodation for people experiencing homelessness. Beyond bricks and mortar, they are also specialists in supporting those whose complex needs are often the result of life-long challenges.
Every donation can make a difference
By donating to our fundraiser, you’ll be helping Homeless Oxfordshire provide practical support, stability and opportunities for people experiencing homelessness.
• £12 could keep residents warm and safe for a week
• £25 could provide one good meal a day for a week
• £47 can provide someone with new, clean bedding (including a bedsheet, duvet cover, pillow and pillowcase)
• £67 can buy a kitchen set for a resident to enable independence in the community (including pans and cooking utensils, plates, cups and cutlery)
• £100 could provide a trauma-informed counselling session
Each night, Homeless Oxfordshire accommodates approximately 170 people. But their work goes far beyond bricks and mortar. Through their hostels and community housing projects, they provide the person-centred support people need to recover from homelessness and take steps towards independent living.
Please support our team by making a donation, however much you can. Every contribution will help Homeless Oxfordshire continue to be there for people when they need it most.
Thank you for your support!
