Dorota's fundraiser for Tender

Dorota Small is raising money for Tender

Hike · 12 September 2025

Founded in 2003, Tender educates children, young people and adults about healthy relationships through innovative creative programmes: preventing them from becoming victims or perpetrators of relationship abuse and empowering them to have healthy relationships based on equality and respect.

Story

I’m hiking the 170km Tour du Mont Blanc — one of the most iconic and demanding long-distance treks in Europe — to support the incredible work that Tender does to prevent domestic abuse and sexual violence.

This trail winds through the Alps across France, Switzerland, and Italy, with over 10,000 metres of ascent and descent. It’s a tough physical challenge involving long days of hiking at high altitudes, steep climbs, rocky descents, and unpredictable mountain weather — but every step is worth it for a cause I care deeply about.

I’m hoping to raise £10 for every kilometre of the hike — that’s a total goal of £1,700!

Your support will help Tender continue using its arts-based programmes to educate and empower children, young people, and adults to recognise abuse, build healthy relationships, and seek support when needed.

Every donation, no matter the size, makes a real difference. Thank you so much for your support!
